Your First Underwater Experience

Curious about your first scuba experience in Çandarlı? Learn about preparation, safety, equipment and how to enquire.

If you have never tried scuba diving, you probably have questions about the equipment, breathing underwater and what happens before entering the sea. That's a good place to start.

An introductory experience is intended to help newcomers discover what diving feels like under appropriate professional supervision, subject to the programme and all applicable participation requirements.

Before the dive

You should receive information about basic communication signals, equipment and safety procedures. The operator will assess participation requirements, including any relevant health considerations. The dive plan always depends on current conditions and the instructor's judgment.

Do I need previous experience?

Ask the centre which introductory programme is currently offered and what prerequisites apply. Never assume that a particular age, depth, duration or level of supervision applies to everyone.

Plan your visit

Share your intended date, number of guests and any questions. We will direct you to the current programme details.
