Diving season is determined by the conditions, not the calendar.
Çandarlı Bay is affected by the variable meteorological conditions of the Northern Aegean. Although the number of people visiting the region increases during the summer months, it is not correct to say that any day of the year is automatically suitable for diving. Wind direction, waves, current, visibility, water temperature and boat safety are evaluated together.
spring and autumn
Seasonal transitions may offer different light and water temperature conditions. However, sunny weather on land does not guarantee the same comfort under water. The choice of diving suit should not be made by habit, but by current water temperature and individual needs. An alternative day plan suitable for variable weather conditions is also important for divers.
summer and winter
Crowding and boat traffic may increase in summer. Underwater visibility may not be the same in all bays. Lower air and water temperatures in winter may increase the need for appropriate equipment and experience. This text does not promise exact degrees or meters for a particular month; Those measurements can also be shared on a dated observation board.
Get updated information before your visit
As the dive date approaches, get the current sea situation and schedule from the center. Check the date of a shared metric and which domain it belongs to. Measurement of one day does not guarantee the same conditions for another day; Clarify the final plan with the dive team.
