Underwater Photography in Çandarlı

Explore underwater photography in Çandarlı, from dive preparation to image credits. Learn how to share your photographs with the centre’s archive.

Underwater photography can reveal the textures of rock, subtle marine life and the shifting quality of light in a way words rarely can. In Çandarlı we want to preserve this perspective through a carefully credited archive of authentic underwater images.

A meaningful photograph includes more than a beautiful scene: the photographer, date, location if it may safely be shared, and any verified species information help future visitors understand what they see. We will not assign a picture to a dive site merely because it was taken somewhere near Dikili.

The basic rule is simple: marine life comes first. Do not move animals, interfere with their habitat or sacrifice buoyancy and buddy awareness to obtain a picture. We also respect copyright. An Instagram post does not give a website permission to reuse someone's photographs commercially.

Photographers who would like to contribute to the archive can contact the dive centre to discuss usage permission and attribution. The gallery will grow through genuine contributions rather than stock images passed off as Çandarlı locations.

Information only: Conditions, permissions and diving eligibility must be checked directly with the dive centre. This page is not a training manual or dive plan.
