The aim of the first dive is not performance but acquaintance
In the first moments of scuba diving, the appearance of the equipment may seem complicated. However, the purpose of test diving is not to break a depth record, but to experience the feeling of breathing and the underwater world in a controlled environment. How the dive will be conducted, participation conditions and instructor ratio must be explained by the center according to current authorities and rules.
before you go
- Ask about age and health participation requirements. 2. Do not hide chronic illness, surgery, medication, or ear problem; Consult a diving physician if necessary. 3. Follow the instructor's instructions. 4. Accurately express your comfort level in swimming and water. 5. Take into account that the program may depend on weather conditions.
Before entering the water
- Check if your mask and equipment suit you. 7. Learn basic underwater signs. 8. Learn the ear pressure balancing technique from the instructor. 9. In case of pain, panic or discomfort, signal immediately; Don't force it. 10. Do not skip training steps to take photos.
Are trial diving and certification training the same thing?
No. A short trial activity is not a substitute for a diver certification program that covers the necessary theoretical and practical training. If you have a longer-term diving goal, review the trainings page and decide by asking about the current TSSF authorized program.
